Each year I host a three-month manuscript incubator called A Body of Work.
This immersive online course offers committed writers a structure & process to turn individual poems into a polished manuscript worthy of other readers.
Throughout the fall I have conversations with prospective candidates, and by mid-December the next year’s cohort has usually formed. Classes begin in January and run through March 2020.
I have been teaching and refining A Body of Work since 2012, when I launched an in-person version during a 6 month artist residency. This is now my favorite course to teach each year and I take special care to bring the right people together, to participate in this initiation into a new and more serious engagement with your craft. Is ABOW right for you?
This free info session will happen via Zoom (a free video conferencing app) and provides an open and friendly opportunity for you to hear more about this annual offering, and ask your questions.
Who is this for?
What will I learn?
How many poems do I need to have finished before ABOW begins?
How will I receive feedback on my work in progress?
How much time will I need to commit each week to the coursework?
How do you run an online course?
How much reading is involved?
How should I prepare, in order to get the most out of my experience?
Are there payment plans?
This session may help you decide if you want to commit to ABOW by October 31, when the Early Bird pricing ends.
Join the free call via Zoom on October 9 by requesting the private link from Holly via this contact form.
